Rosneft (RNFTF.PK) subsidiary Neftegaz acquires a 30% interest in 20 deepwater exploration blocks in the Gulf of Mexico held by ExxonMobil (XOM). XOM retains 70% interest and remains operator; analysis of seismic data is under way, and there is not yet any production on the blocks. Financial terms are not disclosed. (PR)

    First Chesapeake sells a block of Oklahoma leases/production to China, then they sell a second block to the same company and now we are selling to the Russians. What the H is going on?
