The SEC should get right on it and investigate Moody's for having the audacity to actually downgrade a country that had persistent deficits and a large build-up of government debt. First the United States, then Japan...pretty soon a ratings agency will be speaking the truth about any country.

What business does the IMF have in telling Japan to raise their sales tax? Those socialists need to keep their hands off our money and take a hike. Japan's problems are the same as the rest of the world. Ben and his magic press. We are exporting inflation and now our lack of demand is killing the planet. Japan is going to spend $100 billion to devalue their currency to prop ours up. If the fed quit buying our debt, treasury rates would go through the roof. Japan has a higher credit rating than the US and Europe in my book, because most of it is owed to it's own people.
