What has laying off workers got to do with Starbucks? Is there some feud going on that we're not aware of, or are you confusing serious people with less than serious comments? Anyway, laying-off some workers, in three separate cities, doesn't mean anything, as production efficiencies sometimes render some jobs redundant and workers must be let go, especially if they can't be re-trained for other jobs. This augurs well for GMCR, as it suggests that they're very cost-conscious. BTW, if I'm not wrong, SBUX and GMCR has a strong and mutually-beneficial partnership, especially after SBUX's competing machine to the Keurig bombed out.
