Spain is the latest European nation to move to an organized effort to install electric charging points for vehicles. Previously, the government in the U.K. said it would subsidize a broad program to install charging stations in train stations and in other commons areas while Norway is ahead of the pack in the EV game.

  • Just what you need in Norway, electric charging station, so your car can go a couple of miles before the battery dies and runs out of juice, what a poorly thought out idea. This country having charging stations is like Canada having charging stations in the winter. These people need to get real about these cars, they are little more than toys.

  • "couple of miles" = 265?

100% of electrical energy in Norway from renewables.

electric plugs already in every home/garage for "fueling"

I don't understand the problem. Why are they toys. Already Tesla in Norway costs less than an imported BMW 3 series because of tax on all ICE vehicles.

  • It seems like there always has to be someone who has no clue as to what they are saying, but still insists on trying to put a negative spin on an already proven positive thing.

If they only knew how it makes them look....

  • Norway is ahead of the pack but Estonia is the first country in the world that has the grid of charging stations that covers the whole country.
