The bad times may be getting worse for Micron (MU) and other DRAM manufacturers, as IHS expects prices to plunge in Q3 - a sharp about-face from its July forecast. IHS expects the price of one widely-used PC DRAM chip to fall 24% Q/Q in Q3, and thinks it could fall another 22% in Q4. (previously)

    Yesterday night I heard the exact opposite when they talked about Samsung - they said Samsung did well because DRAM prices seemed to have bottomed. Anyhow, MU DRAM is the best right now.
