Basic Energy Services (BAS +6.9%) says its rig utilization rose to 71% in February vs. 67% in January and 76% a year ago, despite snow, wind and ice interruptions at its mid-continent and Permian Basin operations. BAS also expects customer spending to improve. SunTrust says the latest jump in natural gas prices also could help BAS.
