Magnum Hunter's (MHR -0.6%) conference call went a long way toward reassuring investors after the delay in filing its 10-K. After changes in MHR's auditor and reserve engineer, accounting work has been overwhelming, CEO Gary Evans says; he was confident enough to issue positive preliminary numbers. After putting out today's press release, MHR received approval from all its lenders.

I think the comments that they are in active discussions with 3 parties about the EF sale are really what helped the stock come back a little bit. Either way the company didn't really say a whole lot.

It damn sure didn't receive approval from this lender. I own 50,000
shares, and I think that qualifies me as a lender. These people need
to get off their butts and start producing.

That "qualifies" you as an owner, not a lender.

@JailDoc,I am sure you have confidence in mhr, otherwise you most certainly, would not have purchased that considerable amount of shares. When catalyst is required to lift us out of this doldrums?

You are not a lender and if you think you are, cut your losses and sell. I'm not sure what you have been expecting but obviously you do not have a long term perspective. If you are not in it for the objectives that will take some time to be worked out, maybe you should call in your "loan" and move on.
