As CenturyLink's (CTL) recently-acquired Savvis subsidiary tries to compete with Amazon (AMZN) and Rackspace (RAX) in the booming cloud infrastructure services market, it's trying to stand out by promoting its value-added services. But it's finding this to be an uphill battle, as many enterprises are content with the "commodity" solutions of market leaders.

    I'm not too surprised since it seems to be an uphill battle for CenturyLink to just keep the telephone and internet service at my home working for more than a few days in a row.
