Though server virtualization has received more corporate IT dollars thus far, the virtualization of desktop PCs is also gaining momentum, making it a hot topic at VMware's (NYSE:VMW) VMworld conference this week. VMware is one beneficiary of this trend, but relative to its size, Citrix Systems (NASDAQ:CTXS) may be a larger one.
