    For the past several years Intel has increased its dividend with the September 1 distribution and has announced its intended dividend increase in May or June; though the official declaration of the September dividend is not until late July. Be patient.

    So just for my understanding if you buy the stock before May 7 you'll be entitled do the dividend?

    As long as you buy before the Ex-Div date - May 3rd, you will get the div.
