Market recap: Stocks slipped amid ongoing concerns over Cyprus' ability to get a bailout and contractionary eurozone economic data (I, II). Growth-sensitive materials and industrials sectors were among the biggest decliners, techs lagged badly after Oracle missed its earnings and revenue numbers, and transports fell for a second day after FedEx issued weak results and guidance.

ECB will fold like a cheap suit, give Cyprus what they want, and stocks will be rosy again. For a while....

That's a given. ECB is full of conservatives. Like US conservatives, they will fold. Conservatives always do.

ECB took a stance. They won't fold unless they want to lose any credibility. Cyprus has two roads in front of them: the road of Ireland or the road of Iceland. They can either take all bank debt and make it national debt like in Ireland or they can tell the banks to f*** off and let them go up in flames like in Iceland. Ireland's GDP grew 6% since the bottom in 2010; Iceland's GDP grew 16% since the recent bottom during the financial crisis.

Nah, there's a third option. The Russians can still swoop in.
I do expect the ECB to fold as well though or partially fold.

I am predicting Eurogeddon, with Cyprus being the spark in the tinderbox. Cyprus is to the EU crisis as Sarajevo is to WWI. You still long in stocks reader? Hoo-boy.
