Unlike Marin Software, West Corp. (WSTC) is having an unpleasant opening day. After pricing its 21.3M-share IPO at $20 (below a range of $22-$25), shares opened at $19.04 and are currently at $19.15, down 4.3%. That's good for a market cap of $1.6B. The provider of conferencing and contact center outsourcing services posted 2012 revenue of $2.64B (+6% Y/Y) and net income of $125.5M (-2%). It competes with IT and telecom giants offering hosted services, as well as smaller firms such as ShorteTel (SHOR) and 8x8 (EGHT). (S-1)
