Statoil (STO), Shell (RDS.A, RDS.B) and Exxon (XOM) stand to benefit "on both realizations and volumes" thanks to record spot prices for natural gas in Europe, an event Wall Street hasn't dialed in on, Tudor Pickering analysts say. Cold weather and low inventories have pushed prices 23% higher Y/Y, and heating demand is up 17% Y/Y.

STO has been undervalued for years...speculation it could be buying HES seems to be weighing on the shares now. It's very undervalued with respect to current discoveries and is a nice income stock with a fat dividend. Global warming scientist predicted Europe would cool down as a result of melting glaciers in Greenland dumping into the Gulf Stream and cooling it off. Now it whips around Ireland and England and brings more moisture, snow, and cooling temperatures. This is a bullish catalyst for STO as a top supplier of nat gas to the EU. Well, at least until all the glaciers are gone.

I am 75 years old. Till my 65 I worked in the Real Estate in the Netherlands and Germany. After my retirement I have studies Investing. particular Technical Analyses intensively with several workshops in the Netherlands. My buy and sell decisions are made by analyzing the fundamental data of about 4000 firms in USA and 700 in Germany

My information of the diverse ratios of STO are very good. Particular the Earning/price ratio Only the growth% of the "Cost of Sales" are
rising more then the "Sales Revenues" over the last 7 Years
