Molycorp (MCP) announces a turnover in mangement, saying that John F. Ashburn, Jr., its General Cousel, and John L. Burba, its Chief Technology Officer, have both resigned from the company, but will remain on in a limited consulting capacity. Geoffrey R. Bedford, the company's EVP of Rare Earths and Magnetics, will assume COO duties, effective immediately. Shares +0.4% AH.

    It's the same with all these corporations.The officers make all their money on the IPO and then they run the company into the ground(i.e Facebook) leaving the shareholders holding the bag!

    MCP is settled now for a while so it does not need so much high pay top officers. They got layoff or a better way to say is "they are leaving.." Hopefully, the costs will go down: one officer got about 300,000 per year
