Netflix (NFLX) is out with another announcement on an original content series, saying Sense8 is slated to debut late in 2014. The series looks ripe to generate a decent amount of buzz with the Wachowskis from The Matrix fame creating the science fiction/fantasy storyline.

Interesting that we get this buzz-worthy announcement today, just before this weekend's debut of Bad Samaritans. Bad Samaritans? You know...It's NFLX new comedy series being binge-dumped on March 31. There is zero buzz on this series. Literally. Check Google Trends comparing House of Cards and Bad Samaritans, and BS flatlines, all zeros, regardless of how you adjust parameters looking at the last 90 days, 30 days or 7 days. It scores a "0" because there's "not enough search volume to show results" ( Almost no advance publicity. Trailer makes the show look like quite a mixed bag. We'll know more when it's available, but where are the advance articles and reviews? Maybe they're coming in the next several days...or not. It feels like Netflix is trying to bury this one so it doesn't detract from their efforts to profile themselves as the new HBO.
