Twitter's ad sales will more than double this year to $582.5M and hit $950M in 2014, predicts eMarketer - those numbers are up from a prior $545.2M and $807.5M, and drive home the momentum behind the microblogging platform's Promoted Trend and Promoted Tweets products. The revised forecasts could be providing a lift to Facebook (FB +2.5%) and (to a lesser extent) LinkedIn (LNKD +0.7%). (Facebook hashtag report)

If (FB) gets more ads, I'm leaving it. I think Twitter is much more popular than (FB). All celebrities seem to love tweets.

It's easier to tweet than to like on FB. It's quick and convenient, especially for simple and short remarks.
