In addition to its ultrabook initiative, Intel (INTC) is looking to counter the tablet market's growth, and lift flagging sales of its Atom CPUs, by pitching "hybrid" PCs that are "skinnier than a netbook but thicker than a tablet," and feature physical keyboards. But with netbook demand plunging, Intel may face a tough sell.

    They should make the keyboard detachable or blue tooth so that the screen can function by itself as a tablet.
