Boeing (BA) looks to sell 24 F/A-18 fighter jets to Australia by summer in a deal valued at up to $3.7B, according to a U.S. Navy captain. The sale, if completed, would be a victory for Boeing over Lockheed Martin (LMT) which is struggling with its F-35 program. Additionally, foreign sales will help keep the F/A-18 production line open.
