Microsoft (MSFT -0.2%) says it will match rival Salesforce.com with a social networking feature embedded in its Dynamics CRM product, as it looks to elbow more firmly into the CRM market. The social feature will be provided free, and includes an option to deliver the service via an app on Windows 7-powered phones.

    Social networking sucks.

     

    But from a business marketing point of view, social networking is the greatest thing since sliced bread. One person can reveal all kinds of connection information to their friends, including email addresses to spam. This is why every company wants to force people into social networking!
