Nielsen estimates, as of August, Android (GOOG) accounted for 43% of all smartphones owned in the U.S (+3% M/M), and 56% of U.S. smartphone buys in the prior 3 months. The iPhone (AAPL) is believed to account for 28% of both smartphones owned and recent buys, while the BlackBerry's (RIMM) estimated shares are 19% and 9%. (comScore data)

    Apple is going to loose - simple reason, it's against ALL! Name a company that makes money with Apple, even verizon & att are not making that great deal off iProducs.
