Citigroup (C) will file a compensation claim against Nasdaq OMX (NDAQ) seeking to recover some of the losses incurred in connection with the botched Facebook IPO. It is worth watching the situation closely as Citi joins UBS in criticizing Nasdaq's $62M settlement with the SEC for being inadequate — the Street lost around $500M on the deal.

About time somebody pays for the debacle. Citi should've done this long ago. I wonder what took them so long to get their act together? That should boost the stock of Citi somewhat.

Yeah - maybe even boost that dividend. Too late for me - my covered call got exercised. Got lucky at near the recent high. A triple +. In at 1.42 pre-split.

Funny how the PIG squeals when IT takes a bath. What about the $BILLIONS that Citi stole from its investors and depositors over the years? They never complained when they settled $Bil in stolen funds for pennies to the SEC. The Investors got the shaft.
