Nike (NKE) reinvents itself with a plan to set up a venture capital division designed to back green-tech companies and startups. The company says by fostering new sources of energy and sustainability it may be able to improve its own production. "Leveraging innovation in sustainability can be a vehicle for growth," adds one exec.

    Oh please if I want to get into venture capital why would I want Nike to do it for me? If they have money to burn just give it back to the shareholders and let them figure out what to do with it.
