French industrial production rose more than expected in February, climbing 0.7% vs a drop of 0.8% in January and consensus of +0.4%. Manufacturing +0.8% vs -1.3% and +0.2%, with output boosted by robust growth in the transport and refining sectors. Despite the increases, though, economists still expect France's economy to have contracted in Q1. (PR)
