StatCounter expects Google Chrome (GOOG) to surpass Firefox as the world's #2 browser by December. It believes Chrome's market share has grown 8% since January, while Firefox and Internet Explorer's (MSFT) have declined 4% each. Though Google offers Chrome for free, the company benefits from its adoption to the extent it drives traffic to Google sites. (previously)
