It's been a wild ride today for pharmaceutical developer Vermillion (VRML), jumping +19% at the open on positive preliminary results for its PAD drug Vasclir, only to reverse course and tumble -13% as the biotech sector continues to collapse. Other biotech shares getting hit today: Cerus (CERS -5.2%), EXACT Sciences (EXAS -5.2%), Quest Diagnostics (DGX -5.2%), Gen-Probe (GPRO -3.8%), and (CPHD -2.6%).
