Why take note? What else would Mitsubishi say?

Very simple: it's not what they say, but the fact that they feel compelled to say anything at all.

So if they feel compelled to say something, it's bearish for MS? Does that mean if they had remained silent, it's bullish for MS?

What if they remain silent and everyone says, why isn't MTU saying anything? Things must be really bad.

    Tough game.

David is correct. Why did they feel compelled to say anything?

The first question on the conference calls of every bank will be about European exposure.

    This could get very messy.

Being a contrarian this helps along my thesis that things will not get better until we see a Greek default, mid to large bank failure, and indication that we are in a recession.
