After continuing to slide sharply early in overnight trade, gold is bouncing, +1.8% to $1,388/oz. (it touched $1,322 at its low point). Silver +0.6% to $23.50 after dropping as low as $22.01. GLD +2.5%, SLV +3.4% premarket.

    Still not concerned about SAND, since it's only 5% of my portfolio, and have been playing w/ 'house money' since 2010... Gold will come back. It always does. Can't say the same for the USD...

    Mondays market thumping cleared out a lot of fog that has lingered around since last year.Not only has gold retracted to its seemingly more real valuation,given current circumstances,but the fall in equities seems to reveal which has real resiliency and staying power.I was pleased to see most of my equities are showing signs of recovery allready.Only my oil stocks are slow to recover,and I believe that will happen when crude prices do,a likely event over time.
