  • Steve Job's single most important contribution - he enabled pervasive computing in ways that others could only have imagined.

  • Makes one wonder if Apple Computer, starting the Jobs Family Garage could start up today. Same for Hewlett Packard and Intel.

Think not. Government Regulations and Rules would be greatest problem to overcome.

  • I find it amazing that he was the boss of Apple and the presenter of new products up til a few weeks of his death. I hope the stock price didn't add stress to his final days. Certainly one of the very few that we all can use as a role model for success.

  • Inappropriate. Edison stole most of his ideas, and was widely known as a fraudster. Although they refuse to teach this in American Schools, it is nonetheless a fact.. He is not worthy of being compared to Mr. Jobs in any way. Steve Jobs was an innovator, not a common thief, as was Edison.

  • Steve Jobs was a true visionary... the likes of Henry Ford.
Just as Ford perfected the automobile almost a century ago...
Steve perfected the computer. Both men used vision, simplicity,
aesthetics, common sense and practicality to universally popularize
    technological breakthroughs.

Thanks Steve for your vision. You will be missed...

  • As an architect & designer I can appreciate his brilliance. We, as a society should, at the least, start a campaign to dedicate a US Postal stamp to his memory.

  • I would like to offer you condolences to Steve Jobs family. I can understand your frustrations and pains in your heart with this world and why we should have hope because I used to feel the same way. But keep in mind that God is always there to keep us going and He will never leave us especially in times like this.
