It looks as if the iPhone 4S will allow Apple (AAPL) to maintain, if not boost, its sky-high margins. While info from Apple's Canadian site suggests the 32GB 4S will sell for $749 unsubsidized, UBM TechInsights estimates the device will have a production cost of $203. Even after factoring in R&D and sales/marketing expenses, this could easily result in a 60%+ profit margin. (more)
