BGR provides the specs for Samsung's upcoming "Nexus Prime" phone, and claims it will be a VZ exclusive in the U.S. Meant to be the flagship Android (GOOG) phone for the holiday season, and the first to run version 4.0 of the OS, the Prime could prove a worthy challenger to the iPhone 4S (AAPL) ... provided its 4.65-inch display isn't seen as too large.

This is definitely great news for both google and samsung. Samsung is definitely the top hardware phone system used for android and the company realizes this. Google needs samsung more than ever to stay competitive against apple and microsoft. With android 4.0, people will realize that this phone will also have the same capability to have a personal system attached to it like the siri assistant for iphone 4 s but at a cheaper price. Not to mention that iphone 4s is still 3g which is pathetic since sprint is dumping its own wimax in favor of 4G LTE next year like verizon. Everything is LTE 4G now. Not 3G anymore.......

"Exclusively for Verizon" Well then forget it...no one wants pay a Verizon bill - they're hogs, plain and simple.
