The link says "Yahoo dives after earnings."
Above it shows shares being up 1.1% AH.

    How is this a "dive?"

It's clear Marissa has zero notion of any forward thinking strategy. Her remarks can be summarized thus "I'm going to create nice working conditions (sans working at home) and I'm going to try to hire as many teens and twenty somethings as possible"

By trying to replicate the conditions at Google, Marissa is making the Cargo-Plane-Pacific- Islander. error. The islanders, dazzled by all the things that came out of American planes in World War II, thought all they needed to do was mark out runways and planes loaded with cargo would then magically appear and land on them. It hasn't occurred to her that hiring chefs is not an end in itself.

Another Ron Johnson type empty head. When I worked as a consultant I used to occasionally run into these empty heads at the highest altitudes of huge companies and marvel at how such obviously empty heads got there.

I view Yahoo's CEO as another "flavor of the month" hire.
She was supposed to turn Yahoo around. So far, I have seen zero content changes to the website. Sure the homepage changed, but you still get the same tabloid writers and nonsense stories.
Plenty of money going to her in salary. Time to put up some results.

Isn't Marissa Mayer the one who banned mothers from working home and it made it difficult for them to be at home with their children. However, she ended up building a nursery connected to her office for her baby.

That's her. The multi-million dollar CEO who will turn things around at Yahoo.
    What a visionary she is!
    Give me a break...glad I don't own Yahoo stock.
