Red Lobster will reverse a policy instituted last year which saw new servers hired at a lower pay scale and increased the number of tables each server handled at a time in order to cut costs for Darden Restaurants (DRI -1.5%). The company admits customer service complaints rose to a level that it couldn't ignore any longer.

Never mind the servers; why would anyone want to eat there?

Yup. PNRA CMG and even MCD are killing DRI. They don't offer amazing food so now they are rolling out specials at OG and RL like Dinner for 2 for $25. Can't be great for margins.
