FuelCell Energy (FCEL +6.5%) projects FQ2 revenue of $38M-$40M, above analyst consensus of $36.6M, as the maker of fuel cells for electric power generation reports progress on plans to increase its production rate by 25% thanks to demand in Connecticut and abroad. Says the ramp to a 70 MW annualized run-rate is on track for a May 1 completion.

FCEL has been a sleeper and is awakening to what appears to be an excellent future in alternative energy. Now that they have been awakened and becomes of high interest, expect a consistent increase in share price coming greater than todays gain and heading toward $2.00 before reporting next results. Without any news, it has visited $1.39 for a 52-week high and this is just the beginning. Anything under $1.00 is an excellent buy. It should have gone above $1.00 today but the entire market has prevented FCEL and many others to move generously upwards on any news.
