Japan's second-biggest steelmaker JFE Steel (OTCPK:JFEEF) says it plans to build a new $3B steelmaking unit in Southeast Asia. The project, when finalized, will mark the first time in the post-war era that a major Japanese steelmaker has built a large integrated plant outside Japan.
