The sale is off, say the content-focused owners of video hub Hulu - including NWS, DIS and CMCSA - because of its "unique and compelling strategic value" to each of them. Most bids from the likes of AMZN, DISH and GOOG didn't exceed the $2B owners thought they could get in an IPO last year, and new efforts like the $7.99/month Hulu Plus have them thinking there's value ahead. Good luck collecting that 8 bucks with another million job losses coming in the next three weeks.

Hulu and Zynga, and facebook, blah, blah, blah. It's a shame that this is all america has to offer for "companies" now.

I forgot, half the country is on welfare already, good news!! They will be able to afford the 8 bucks, because the govt pays for it anyway!

Shit.. By all means, IPO!! Now!! Let us know when, so we can be long that day.
