United Technologies (UTX -0.3%) slips a bit today after putting up a mixed Q1, beating on a per share basis but coming up shy on its top line, despite a 16% Y/Y increase in total sales. Net profit also soared, as revenue from its newly formed UTC Aerospace Systems, which includes recently acquired Goodrich and Hamilton Sundstrand, surged to $3.26B from $1.24B, while its Pratt & Whitney unit saw an 11% increase in sales. The company also reaffirms FY13 guidance.
