Viacom (VIA) begins oral arguments in its appeal of Google's (GOOG) victory in a 2010 copyright case, telling the court that YouTube willfully violates copyrights by letting users post videos of copyrighted TV shows and movies without authorization. So far, courts have consistently said websites can’t be held responsible if users upload stuff they don’t own.
