Market recap: Stocks tread water in a lackluster session, as a weaker than expected reading on Q1 GDP left little reason for investors to support the market for another day. Amazon fell 7% and weighed on tech stocks after a weak sales forecast. Next week brings potentially market-moving events such as an FOMC meeting, economic data including the monthly jobs report, and possible rate action by the ECB.

Ol' Ben cane back from lunch at 1 pm and the market "magically" moved up then. Never doubt the power of OZ. If the market can't go down on bad GDP, Lord only knows what it will do next week with the FOMC promising more QE, fake jobs data and ECB QE.

    Bull market to the moon!!

Don't forget the new Bank of England Governor starting his job in July - rumours are rife that he will do a Japan style massive QE programme.

With more than 1/2 of the S&P companies reporting only 44% have posted sales above estimates . Markets keep climbing.
