Shares of Auxilium Pharmaceuticals (AUXL -12.8%) take a big hit today on a disappointing Q1 report, missing on both EPS and revenue. The company cites some some "unanticipated challenges" with its commercial franchises for the miss. For FY13, its expects revenues of $360M - $415M, which reflects the closing of the acquisition of Actient, and may not be comparable to consensus estimates of $334.34M.

    Not a surprise at all! Though Adrian Adams is a smart guy, the marketing team for Xiaflex could not be worse. Coyne and Karas are useless and incapable of driving anything successful and should have been fired the day he got there.
