The online video hosting/distribution platform is guiding for Q2 revenue of $25.7M-$26.2M and EPS of -$0.06 to -$0.07, mostly above a consensus of $25.3M and -$0.07. 2013 guidance is for revenue of $104M-$106M and EPS of -$0.15 to -$0.22 vs. a consensus of $103.8M and -$0.21. Brightcove mentioned on its earnings call 65 premium customers were added in Q1, and 111 volume customers were lost (due to the discontinuing of a $5/video offering). Total customers stood at 6,321 (1,690 premium) vs. 4,254 a year ago. Shares were crushed in Feb. following Brightcove's Q4 report.
