Smartphone users can't get enough Angry Birds: Rovio says downloads of its hit game have passed 500M, and that users play 300M minutes daily. By contrast, sales of the top-selling console game - Activision's (ATVI) Call of Duty: Black Ops - only amount to 10M. Rovio is mulling a 2012 IPO, likely at a $1B+ valuation.

How many of those downloads are for the free trial versions of the game?

And how much revenue comes from each download, especially from sources like the Apple app store that takes a ~30% cut?

Less hyperbole, more real analysis, please.
