Shares of Estee Lauder (EL) look ripe for some action after the company beat estimates with its Q1 report and raised profit guidance to above its previous outlook. The solid quarter from Estee Lauder had a lot to do with a recovery in the Europe/Middle East/Africa reporting region though flat sales for skin care items are a concern. Retail analyst Rahul Sharma thinks the guidance pitch from the company might be a low-ball offer.
