Most of those that used up the entire 99 months will miraculously find a job within the next month or so.

BooGP- In many states, UI pays less than 20 percent of their previous salaries. Just enough for food. So you think they are getting rich sucking off the UI teet? So what are they using to pay for electricity, rent, water and housing? You tell me...

You can't find what doesn't exist nor can you take what isn't offered.

Well here in Southern Oregon, most of the unemployed are employed under the table....or they are living with roomates, friends, relatives, etc....while they spend their unemployment frivilously and collect foodstamps. $700 a month in foodstamps at Walmart goes a long way for food, and the unemployment combined with any under the table work and they do just fine. Kids are a lock for the Oregon Health plan as well. 95% of the people I know here would love another handout, but laugh at the fact that they are getting it. You guys are used to unemployed that are used to making a lot more money.....the majority of the people on unemployment have not taken a massive hit....If you saw girls I know getting $70 pedicures while on unemployment and drinking $6 pints at the pub maybe you'd think differently. I don't blame them at all, it's human nature to milk things for as much as you can. The poor are as greedy as the rich.

A quality worker can always find a job. Maybe not the job they want but they can find a job, if they want to, guaranteed.

When a person walks down the street, one look over the shoulder to make sure no one follows. This will become the norm in the near future. Also traveling in numbers rather than solo while shopping.
