Is the idiot who planned this meeting considered one of "the best and brightest"?

How can they say no government money was used for the event. The fact that the government gave them money means that anything and everything they do from that point on is using government money. Sure on a technical basis they coulod show a money trail that shows money for those events was not from the government, but that just means the government money allowed them to funnel other money from somewhere else and make it look like non government aid.

I'm not against rewarding good employees, but don't pretend you're on a higher moral or ethical ground when it's the same incompetence and greed that drove you down in the first place.

WFC already has facilities for holding these meetings, they don't have to go off to Vegas. Order in some Subway sandwiches and Dominos pizza and get to it.
