  • Roubini: "Dear investors, do enjoy this dead cat bounce and bear market sucker’s rally..." but, "don’t wait too long until you jump ship while the financial Titanic hits the next financial iceberg; you may get squeezed and crushed in the rush to the lifeboats."

    Amen.

Bulls and Bears make money, but pigs get slaughtered.

See ya back at the "old bottom" in April when earnings come out.

    Any jobs created yet?

Professor Roubini is long on words and short on facts in this very long epistle. Look at my post today for the facts that Roubini has conveniently ignored or minimized:

    Bear market rally? Yes

Test of lows? Yes, though I am not guessing the final #s.

Roubini is more accurate than Bernanke.

I read the entire article Roubini posted and he makes a lot of sense. We just popped the largest global credit bubble in history. any recovery is will far out in the future if we even get one.

Roubini has had some good calls over the past 2 years and not so much before that. What I do not like about this guy is he seems so happy and roots for a decline as it helps him make MONEY buy selling his fear story.
He may well be correct but he needs a better delivery.

The short everything trade has worked very well and too many people got into it. that's what is reversing now and hence the rally. Try getting a borrow on Citigroup from JP Morgan... Roubini will overstay his welcome after the turn. It always happens that way - the rockstars have to continue along their same path to justify their fame. Indeed Roubini will look stupid at some point in the future.
