  • Sellers crank it up in the afternoon to drive stocks from their highs, but buyers still win today's tug-of-war - handsomely.
    DJIA +2.73% (+212.18) to 7,973.78. S&P +2.82% (+22.88) to 833.96. Nasdaq +3.29% (+51.03) to 1,602.63.
    Crude +8.3% to $52.39. Gold -2.4% to $904. 30-year Tsy -1.04% to 129-07. Euro +1.58% vs. dollar. Yen -0.83%.
