  • Major battle brewing between the Obama administration and the corporate lobby over White House plans to raise taxes on overseas profits - which could cost multinationals $100B over the next decade.

    Not only they should raise taxes, they should double tax the corporate which outsource American jobs.

    Multinatinal companies will bear the burden and ultimately lose some competitive edge in pricing margins. Their employees will now have to work more for less pay.

    The onerous US tax regime already imposed on US multinationals is what caused several companies to move their headquarters overseas. Bad tax policy proposals like this one will only encourage other companies to follow suit.
