    Oh stop. This information just cannot be true.

    Why according to CNBC everything is getting better. People are becoming flush with cash again and the green shoots are turning into a big green golf course filled with wealthy Americans.

    I guess they will never accept the fact that the age of consumerism is long over.

    I don't believe that consumerism is over. It's just on hold... for a few years. Americans love to spend. Bigger, better.
