No one would. 30+ year old tweeting what they are doing every 5 minutes. Sorry we are not in high school anymore no one cares that you have an upset tummy or that you went to the gym.

Maybe I'm a little bitter I missed todays upswing. I still hate twitter. I hated it since its inception.

Its not only disillusioned corporate users.

I'm a Senior in College and the sentiment among my peers is that Twitter is a pointless extension of Facebook's status update. Facebook will own for personal use and something in the future will take over the basic idea of twitter and expand on it for corporate users - Google Wave???

Come on now, all the Web 2.0 stuff has uses. Twitter is great during live event for passing along information in a convient fashion. Yes there are people who talk about lot of crap but some things are good. Like all technology it will decline but move into a more mature technology that has it use.

There is nothing that twitter does that isn't already available through any website, rss or email. Like Trent mentioned Twitter is pointless.

Go to sportsline.com. They have constant updates there from beat reporters at every NFL training camp.

Our company tried for a while and decided it was taking up more time than it was worth.
Twitter was the rage for a few short weeks among internet retailers, but most of the ones that I know have pretty much given up on it - which leads to the all important question.

How is it going to make money?

"How is it going to make money?"
That question never stopped XM Radio and Sirus from trying to break even for the better part of a decade. ;+)
