  • Toyota (TM) plans to cut capacity worldwide by 10% - 1 million vehicles - according to a Nikkei report. Its production volume is expected to fall to 6.7M vehicles in 2009.

    cutting capacity? how can this be? i thought the clunkers program had all the automakers ramping up production by eleventy bajillion percent to meet demand.
